Job Description: The Production Specialist will give support to supplier management and help ensure orders are executed accurately and on schedule. The main responsibility is to make sure that everything is going properly behind the scenes and that all orders that are being manufactured with our supplier partners are being completed and produced in accordance with purchase orders and customer demands. The individual in question will be in charge of assisting with customer communication by giving them production proofs, order updates, tracking numbers, and guiding them through any potential hiccups that may arise while orders are in production.
Skills that you will master in this position include:
Managing the production process with our vendors and giving our clients frequent updates
Working together with our fulfillment center(s) to expedite shipping to our clients
Maintain log-in information, check inventory counts, export tracking reports, import batch orders, and kitting and fulfillment jobs.
When necessary, send proofs to our clients for approval.
Assist in navigating and resolving art issues with our vendors, calling on the art team as necessary
Follow up with suppliers for tracking information
Sending tracking to customers
Navigating any shipping-related difficulties, such as address changes, customs procedures, refunds, etc.
Communicating with clients regarding shipping issues, tracking updates, delivery confirmations, etc.
Assist with shipping labels, shipping estimates, scheduling freight pick-ups, courier pick-ups, etc.
Daily Deliveries - utilizing the Production Report to inform the team of all orders that delivered the day prior
Managing & updating the Production Report on Commonsku on a daily basis
Help resolve error orders and client issues with the assistance of the Sales Team
Help with blank clothing discrepancies; speak with the decorator and the supplier to resolve any issues.
Update and maintain supplier changes internally - contact info, email addresses, warehouse locations, etc.
Plan weekly production meetings (10–15 minutes each) with each project manager to examine orders and discuss any problems or errors.
